The journal is currently under the direction of the Italian novelist Dacia Maraini. The excerpt, titled ”Sarah 1903,” from Dews’s as-yet-untitled novel will appear in an issue of Nuovi Argomenti in the spring or summer of 2011. Dews said “It is an honor to have a chapter from my novel published by a journal with such a rich cultural history.” Professor Dews is the chairperson of the Department of English Language and Literature at John Cabot University and the director of the Institute for Creative Writing and Literary Translation. |
